To create the conditions for the usability of windows and exterior doors, the following requirements must be met for the connection design:
Clear separation of functional levels and the functional area.
Protection of the connection joint from external and internal loads.
The construction must be executed at least airtight on the room side all around.

TESTING INSTITUTES
The MPA HANNOVER emerged on January 1, 2017, through the merger of the MPA for Civil Engineering Hannover and the MPA for Materials Science and Production Technology. Operating in Hannover, Garbsen, and Clausthal-Zellerfeld, MPA HANNOVER is an entity of the state of Lower Saxony. As an independent and objective materials testing institute, it collaborates with industry, trade, and commerce, making a significant contribution to consumer safety.
At the three locations, the MPA examines, monitors, accepts, and certifies raw materials, materials, construction products and methods, structures, pipelines and technical installations, rotating abrasive bodies, and corrosion protection measures. In addition to static and dynamic testing machines, the facilities include powerful laboratories for chemical and building physics investigations, as well as assessments of the fire behavior of construction materials.
The MPA holds accreditations as a testing and calibration laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, as a certification body according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065, and as an inspection body according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020. It is recognized as a testing, monitoring, and certification body according to NBauO and RAP Stra testing authority. Furthermore, it is notified as a product certification body, a certification body for factory production control, and a testing laboratory according to the EU Construction Products Regulation.
As a recognized, notified, and accredited testing, monitoring, and certification body (PÜZ body according to Building Regulations and EU Construction Products Regulation), MFPA Leipzig GmbH supports national and European building regulatory approval procedures.
The testing institute for locks and fittings in Velbert has been testing, certifying, and monitoring locks, fittings, windows, and doors for over 30 years. The testing institute of the Quality Association for Locks and Fittings is recognized as a testing, notified, and certification body according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065, providing extensive testing capabilities. Our tests gain global acceptance through accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
